Michael Douglas, a famous actor for many years, has throat cancer and recently completed another treatment for his cancer. He recently spent the Thanksgiving holiday with his wife and two children. Douglas is 66 years old and he says it's going to be a long time before he is back to feeling 100% healthy but he says he is feeling stronger and stronger everyday. Earlier this year they found a tumor on the back of Douglas's tongue and he was given an 80 percent chance of survival with eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, which he has completed.
I have to say congratulations to Michael Douglas. It's not easy to have to deal with a life threatening thing like cancer. Especially throat cancer! I mean, if you've seen the way he has been looking before this last treatment and when he was first diagnosed, he looked AWFUL! The guy really did look like the walking dead. I'm glad that he is doing much better now. He is a pretty good actor. He always played a really good lawyer in some films. Besides, if he died, he would just be another victom of cancer and another deceased celebrity. I'm glad that he was strong enough to spend time vacationing with his family at Disney World. I hope him and his family had a lot of fun spending time together. I bet they haven't gotten to have a good family outting like that since he's been really sick. Sometimes a deathly illness can cause severe pressure and stress on a family. I'm glad Michael's family love him enough to stick with him through this tough time he is having to go through. Hopefully he continues to feel better and his doctors can get him back up to 100% so him and his family can go on many more family outtings together.
