Dane Cook's half brother and sister-in-law have to repay the comedian about $12 million dollars that they stole from him. Darryl and Erika McCauley of Wilmington are being held accountable for stealing $12 million dollars from Cook while Darryl was his business manager. Darrly has been sentenced to up to 6 years in prison and his wife was sentenced to up to 3 years in prison for larceny. The courts are now tallying up the two theives's assets. They have a huge home, hotel, and restaurant that they own in York Beach, Maine.
For those of you who don't know who Dane Cook is, he is a VERY funny comedian. I love people that make me laugh and Dane Cook is certainly one of those people. He's been in a few movies too, I believe. Dane Cook also does a lot of really good stand up comedy. I have several of his dvd's that have his stand up. He is one of my favorite comedians. Anyway, back to the issue on him, I think that those two thieves are getting what they deserve. I would be so pissed if I let one of my family members be my business manager and then found out that they stole millions of dollars from me. I mean, come on, I'm sure that if they were having money problems and they needed help then they probably could have just asked Dane for some money until they get their situation sorted out. There is no reason to steal money. You defanitely shouldn't steal from your family either. Not only will they have to repay the money that they stole, they also have to go to prison and they have to face Dane knowing what they've done to him. It's shameful to do something like that to a family member. Especially when they trusted you to be their business manager. It sounds to me like they didn't have money problems, they were just dispicable theives. I hope Dane gets his money back and never has to go through that crap again. I bet he will have a couple jokes for those two while they are in prison! YAY DANE! I love it when he points people and their mistakes out!
