A man duped a construction company by saying that he was thinking about buying a $450,000 home and ended up breaking into it instead. 23-year-old Adam Rodriguez broke into the expensive home and changed the security code on the garage door and moved his furniture in moments later after breaking in. Rodriguez lived in the home for three days before being caught by police. Rodriguez was arrested Monday and charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft of services.
What an idiot this guy was. Why would you tell a construction company that you might like to buy a home and then break into that home and try to live there. Breaking into a house is not going to go unnoticed, especially if the construction company you talked to is working on that house. That guy was stupid for even thinking that he could get away with holding up in the house let alone moving his furniture in! Why would you even bother moving your furniture in? You gotta know that you are going to get caught just for breaking into the place so why would you even attempt to make yourself at home? I bet the judge was laughing when he heard that he was going to have to settle this case. I wonder what the guy's excuse was for doing that? I kinda wish I could've been a fly on the wall for that explanation!
Oh my gosh Holly, this is almost hilarious. It's kind of like when little kids think because they can't see you, you can't see what they are doing. A 23 year old should know better than thinking he could move in and NO ONE is going to notice. The fact that he changed the security code makes me know he thought there there was a chance he could get by with it. Sometimes I am utterly shocked with the ignorance of some people!!!!! Doesn't it make you wonder what was going on in his life that he would even think about pulling this off or was he just that arrogant thinking he could?
ReplyDeleteWow...that guy is really retarded for thinking he could get away with that. This is really funny that he would attempt to claim the house as his own after he broke in.
ReplyDeleteThis is hillarious. it sounds like one of those stupid criminal shows. I guess it takes all kinds.
ReplyDeleteThe stupidity of people never really seems to amaze me. What an idiot!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that doesn't surprise me at all. Some people these days just amaze me how they make their decisions and why they make the decisions they do.
ReplyDeletePeople are very interesting. When you are dealing with all kinds day in and day out, you really forget that there are those that don't care. The man may have problems, but he was foolish in the idea of staying in one place too long. There are real squatters out there that will live in a house for days, weeks and months with out being caught. This one was not very smart when the construction company came into play. Hope he gets what he deserves.
